FInally got Everyday Eclectic, and then...

Image
right when I was about to sit down and scrap with it...the electricity goes out! :( The whole neighborhood went out till midnight. It was almost 8pm when it went out. There was still good light outside, so what did I do? I went outside to scrap! For about 15 minutes...but it was enough to at least get an idea of where I wanted to go with the LO. That was friday. So Saturday I woke up ready to play! Here's what I made: Papers- Everyday Eclectic by Echo Park, wood veneer cameras & arrow - Studio Calico, Tape- Bella Blvd, ink- Jenni Bowling in Fountain Pen, twine &bling from my stash Thats me! I finally finished my M.A. in Early Childhood Education. I was lucky to meet some great people in the same program and we got to graduate together. I love that the color of my hood was the same as the blue in this collection ;) That worked out!  .  I'm entering this in Glitter Girl's grounding challenge over at Two Peas in a Bucket .  I grounded my photos with a

Blog award! :)

The very sweet Joy at ...Wow...Did you make that?  awarded me this:  I hope you visit her :)  I found out through Joy that Liebster is the German word for favorite or dearest.  How sweet is that?! Once you get this award you're supposed to pass it on to 3-5 other blogs who have less than 200 followers. These are some of my favorite blogs with less than 200 followers:  Donna  at The Crafty Corgy Nicola  at Sunshine Reflections Sue at La Femme Knitkita Stacy  at Stacy Kay Creations Tonya at A Life Revamped These are awesome blogs that I truly enjoy. Hope you get a minute to visit ;)

A challenge!

This collection is an old one. Chloe's Closet by Making Memories. I love it, and have tried to use it a few times, but it's been very challenging for me. I finally got one LO done and I'm fairly happy with it :) This week, I'm joining glitter girl's challenge at two peas in a bucket . Here's Glitter Girl's challenge this week:  Thanks for stopping by my blog :)

Catching up!

Image
I have an album for each trip that we take. I also have everyday albums.  The everyday albums seem to fill up so fast, and my stacks of travel photos just sit there!  Not fair! I had like 3 LO's for our trip to France 2 years ago!  I decided it was time to catch up, so I pulled out DCWV's World Traveler stack and got to work! This was a couple weeks ago before I knew I was on the design team! I just love their papers!  This particular stack does a lot of the background layering for you, so its a time saver if you want a quick page or a more layered page. Either way, some of the work is done for you already!  It gives you a starting point :) It also has a lot of pages that can be cut up and used for embellishments. I love to do that.  World Traveler Stack by DCWV, Tsukineko ink in walnut, letter stickers by Echo Park- For the Record & Bella Blvd- Socialite. AC Dear Lizzy date stamp.   World Traveler Stack by DCWV.  Inks- Mister Huey in Calico White, Je
