Anniversary in the clouds

Image
Finally getting to work on these pictures from 2 years ago!  I found this Dear Lizzy Neapolitan paper stack at Michaels that had the vellum, banners, and stickers.  I love that collection and have a few pieces from it.  This page looked so busy to me, I decided to tuck the journaling away in the vellum piece in the middle. I tucked in our tickets there also :)

Loving Sunday Afternoon

...and this Polaroid stamp too :)  This picture was originally a 4x6. Vesuvius was lost in the rest of the stuff around us. I had to cut it to frame what matters in the picture. To really frame it, I stamped a  Polaroid frame from Unity  on a paper from the chickadee stack  and put it over the picture. The rest of the papers are the new Sunday Afternoon stack . I'm also excited about this new flair I bought at Joscie's . I found her browsing through scrapbooking blogs, so I'm spreading the word! :) Don't mean to sound like a commercial but there's just too much good stuff lately.    I'm entering this in the Unity Be Inspired Challenge  using the color inspiration. I love these colors and Sunday afternoon just happens to use them :))    Hope you enjoyed your visit!

Spring Fling Blog Hop

Welcome to the DCWV / Tombow Spring Fling Blog hop. This week, DCWV and Tombow have teamed up to spread a little bit of spring fever. Both design teams are excited to show you just what we have done with the My Sunshine and Chickadee stacks from DCWV , and some amazing adhesive products from Tombow . If you have come here from Marie's blog then you're on track!  I decided to make a mini book using both stacks . This one is for my nephew. Every time we tell him to say 'cheese' for the camera, he comes up with a new face :) It's adorable and it's about time I document it too.  I used the Tombow Dot Stamp Roller to adhere mostly everything in the mini. I have to confess that I will be keeping this little tool on my desk from now on. I love how easy it is to get glue dots on small details. I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortably it fits in my hand too. It's awesome :)) I stitched over the see-through title but used dots from the

March Stack-a-holic Challenge

The little flair button next to the picture says: 'Happiness is where you find it.'  Even on a ride to the vet :)  I truly believe that. If you wait around for happiness, it might never come.  But you can find it anywhere you are.  This is for the March Stack-a-holic challenge over at the DCWV blog .

Hello Cutie!

Image
What a cute way to start a new month :)    I loved it when my nephew discovered he could put his arms in his overalls.  He would walk around like that and of course we thought it was adorable so he kept doing it.  This is the new baby boy stack from DCWV I love the prints and colors. So modern!  I know I'll be using this stack for projects that are not baby related. There's a lot of variety in this one. The arrows and hearts are Freckled Fawn washi, except for one Studio Calico wood veneer.  See you soon!
